Right before I was born, a lot of houses in Nigeria had been gathering around their white and black television to watch different kinds of shows. Even when the light is bad, they switch on the generator to watch those shows. Back in the day, all these reality shows used to be fun with full vibes, lots of lessons, and dramas, and that aside, they are attached to some kind of strange lessons.
From my little experience with this, especially the one we call the BBN over here, a lot of people have been made to believe different things because, some have been made to believe that every love must be toxic, and some people have begun to compare their normal life with that that is being watched or shown on the reality TV shows. A life filled with pretense and a fake life.
Well, we still have some good reality TV shows, and that is why I do not support that all reality TV shows should be banned. But what I will rather say is that some of these shows, if not all should be properly regulated and not show what will make those watching feel pressure or have more low self esteem than they already have.

The government or the bodies responsible for those types of shoe shows should set a strong warning towards what should be shown to the viewers. And I think some of those old reality TV shows that portray the real meaning of reality shows should be brought back to life, because that is what I grew up to know, not the one that we now have today.
I am also saying this because of the young ones that also watch these shows with us. Because what these young folks see in these reality TV shows shapes the way they think, their confidence, choices, and how they view life when we are with them or not. And I believe that we do not want reality TV shows that will continue to constitute negative vibes for our society.
