Campfire chat is limited to 10 messages per day; the first 10 interactions are worth 1 point each, so the maximum is 10 points. After that, messages will continue to be sent as usual but won’t count toward points.

If I’m not mistaken, requesting an item also works this way: +1 point, and there’s no limit on the number of requests.
