You said it all. They are symbols that we can follow or at least use to get an idea of how to be. Captain America and Superman are two incredible symbols of this for me, of how to be a good person, of always trying to do the right thing, of having hope, of having the willpower to protect people. All of this makes them great examples for me, and I try to pass this on to my children.
