That's a very interesting observation! I suppose the mainstream adoption didn't happen "fast" due to a huge pushback by those in charge (until they found the way to monetize it)...

The other examples you said were easier to understand, to grasp, and to monetize... When money is involved, some nice fees, everything happens much faster... 😃
