@uswap frontend doesn't talk to backend directly (it builds out swap transactions based on wallet data) which means you can use it just by sending correctly formatted transactions.

If you are trying the swap.hive -> HIVE path and want the premium, include the amount you are sending in the transaction memo (it treats the memo value as minimum acceptable output) and it will kick it back to you if it can't deliver you a premium.
