RE: Struggling on hive? This must be what you are missing...

It really is incredibly how much time it all takes up. I recently saw a YouTube video where a guy started doing a whole bunch of "this thing is recommended by x person" and kept adding more and more each day, for a full thirty days to see how it improved their life.

It was really interesting, as I've always thought about that concept.

eg:

"You're meant to walk 10,000 steps a day"
"After every meal, brush your teeth"
"Do meditation"
"Go to the gym"
"Journal"
"Do a skincare routine"
"Take an ice bath"

and so many other tasks. We have to accept that by devoting our time to one thing, we are actively appreciating that we are neglecting another thing. It is not possible to do it all. Time is the only resource that we can't make more of.

You're damn right. It is a clear example of how overwhelming it gets when you try to follow every recommended habit.

There are only 24 hours in a day, and trying to fit everything in leaves you overwhelmed before your day kick start. Choosing one thing often means dropping another, and that's just the reality. Time is limited, and it is important to be more intentional with how we spend it, and that is why I made hive optional but the rest are a must do.
