RE: How to Improve Your Curation If You Have Low HIVE Power?

(edited)

Thanks. It's been a while since I wrote that. I'm curious: how did you find it? Search, my list of older posts, a link somewhere?

I thiught it was 0.02 Hive rather than dollars.

Well, I think it's neither. But it is what interfaces show as 0.02.

Can you elaborate what you mean here?

Also, here's another tip: for a small account, it's better to share lower curation rewards with a few curators (preferably of similar size, not next to a whale vote) than to be one of the few hundred votes that will share a higher chunk of curation rewards for a popular post

Maybe that wasn't the most fortunate wording. What I think I meant was that even if a post has higher rewards, if it is shared among many curators (many hundred toward a thousand and over), the chances of a very small curator to actually receive curation are very small. Their curation share might be below 0.001 HP, which rounds down to 0. Same if they use a low voting threshold and they don't have enough HP.

I found on Suseona, a new blog inferface that is in alpha currently.

I think the fractional rewards aggregate, as they are calculated on VESTs internally, but I need to research more on that.

Thanks again for the post, great insights, I had no clue about the curation rewards decreasing over time
