This causes a bit of 'centralization' but its not a bad idea. Perhaps people need the 'half-way' between centralized (that the know) and the decentralized (that confuses them). Also I'm afraid this will need also some sort of layer of protection to avoid "password keepers" from abusing their power.

Agreed... to a degree.
A large part of the Hive population tend to be absolutely terrified of anything that resembles "centralized," but it becomes an extreme polarity that ignores/forgets the positive benefits of centralized systems. Very few things are 100% bad/evil. To put it differently, we don't need to re-invent the wheel, just make a better wheel...
