Those snails were so frustrating! Maybe try some natural deterrents, Lettice is worth the effort.

Good idea, I'll see what I can find. I had a word with the frogs to tell them to eat more slugs, but they just sat in the pond saying "ribbit". We had to fox-proof the garden (to stop the cats escaping), so they can't get in to eat the slugs either.
