I guess you are talking about a subscription license in that case. But very glad to hear you would consider providing it. After all, if for any reason you no longer provide the service, someone else should be able to. Excluding some reports for those reasons seems totally reasonable to me.

Any license, it is extremely rare to get source code for software you "purchase", except for extremely expensive enterprise projects and consulting. 90%+ of the time you get no code.
