ProofOfBrain.blog Went Poof. Lets Celebrate by Burning some POB

The @buynburn account transfers its HIVE and HBD rewards to #hive-engine. The account uses the funds to buy and burn the HE coins.

To make this account work, I need to occasionally write posts to receive rewards.

I write all of the posts by hand to qualify for the #proofofbrain and #VYB rewards.

Speaking of #proofofbrain, I noticed that the domain proofofbrain.blog went dark.

The #POB tribe has had a problematic history with its domain names. The primary domain proofofbrain.io went dark earlier this year. A valiant group registered proofofbrain.blog and hosted a site for a spell.

Maintaing a HE domain is a pain. The darkening of proofofbrain.blog doesn't bother me.

POB isn't the only tribe that lost its domain. CreativeCoin, Foodies Beehive, Blog HIVE and others have lost their domains through the years.

Considering the difficulties of maintaining domains, it seems to me that #hive-engine should have a service to maintain domains.

It is not that difficult to own domain names. One needs to have a registrar and periodically renew the names.

Since the tribes are generating crypto, it would be easy to create a contract that provides to domain name referral fees.

It is easier to have one group that maintains a dozen names than to expect a dozen people to maintain single domains.

Anyway, POB has been in free fall since the loss of its second domain name this year.

Previous Burns

It looks like I did my last #POB burn on May 10. The post says that I've burned 658 POB to date. I have 101 POB in my wallet and orders for more on the buy line.

It looks like I have 120 POB to burn.

I will use the HIVE and HBD rewards from this post to buy and burn more HE coins.

My guess is that most users are burned out on HE. One would have to burn several hundred thousand POB to stabilize the price.

There are many accounts that drop automated posts to get coins to burn. Do you think that there is any merit to the @buynburn idea? It takes a great deal of effort to buy and burn small quantities of coins.
