Since you used the #aap tag I'm going to leave a comment with some tips.

I like the idea and the flowers fitted the subject of the contest.
The photos do are a bit messy. I see a lot of other flowers and background that distract from the main subject: the red flower. You can try to isolate subjects like flowers against a solid background for instance by taking it from the vase.
