That's impressively clever. I guess it still needs the recipient to click the link in order to trigger it, but it never ceases to amaze me the number of people who click email links even after literally decades of being told not to.
What I find frustrating is that I've so far not found an email client which makes links un-clickable and instead gives you a text version (preferably of the un-spoofed URL that lies behind the disguise) that you have to copy & paste into a browser. Making it a more active operation like that might make people stop and think a lot more.
