It is not often that you meet someone who is friendly and considerate. He is a businessman, it is unusual that he gave you space for free and would like nothing in return. You can cherish the friendship and maybe at some point you can reciprocate how you see fit. Strangers can become friends and in your case a very kind and helpful one.
