Strange Attacker

The portal shifted and warped, and dozens of creatures poured through it, their bodies thin, frail, and stretched at impossible angles. Their limbs were long and spindly, like a spider’s legs, their ears were pointed, and where a mouth should have been was a void of darkness with a single marble of yellow light at the center.
