My name is chibueze chima from Nigeria I want to share my experience with us all about the a store I patronized

9th of February 2024 I went to a store to get some items for the house use I won’t be mentioning name of the organization just to protect their image also for the fact that I had a bad experience at the particular store doesn’t mean it’s the way they operate generally

On that faithful day I went to get some groceries, I pick the needed items for the house and I also did some shopping for myself though

After my selections I went to the counter to pay for the items I got, and the receptionist was just looking at me like I wasn’t there. And I was surprised because I know for certainty she was interviewed and questions about her attitude to customers where discussed.

I stood and all she said was aren’t you gonna pay for items you got, and “I said you didn’t even give me an accolade for standing in front of you or even the least greetings” and she replied “Are you looking for who to greet you or do I look like your younger sister” please pay for what you got and leave me alone.

Or do have any intentions. Of stealing? I felt embarrassed and people who came to pay for the goods they purchased, they were behind me were so surprised and disappointed at her actions.

The security saw that there was crowd at her table he came to see what’s going on, he was like why are they all complaining what is going on he asked her and she was rude to.
He went to call the manager.

With a big surprise on the managers face what’s going on here? She asked the sales person or receptionist, she was like ma I was attending to him and he started yelling at me and I told him not to shout at me I am not his daughter or younger one’s at home. Ma that’s what happened

“I am so sorry sir” that was the first thing she said to me, and the people who were waiting to pay for their goods good frustrated. She noticed they where not happy about what just happened and the fact that the girl was lying. I didn’t alter a word because I was lost you know, at that moment I felt devastated I am being insulted for goods am about to pay for.

I brought out my wallet and picked my verve ATM card to pay

I paid and I just walked like nothing happened and I kept processing it in my head while I was stepping out of the store.
Then the manager ran to me just to make sure I say something about What just happened I still kept my cool, since I wasn’t saying anything then she tried in comforting me I told her I was fine and I trusted the store and definitely I will be coming back “one bad egg doesn’t mean the whole crates are bad”

The next time I went there the girl was fired and I wasn’t really happy because sacking wasn’t the best, rather they could have cautioned her but it’s all good.
