RE: My New Toy on Two Wheels

I lived in USA before moving to South East Asia and I never so much as saw a motorbike like the ones that are very common over here. I don't think they are allowed on the road because of safety reasons or at least that is what the government says. It's probably really because they are too cheap and they want us to waste a lot more money than they cost on transportation.

Anyway, I started driving these kinds of bikes more than 20 years ago and my first one that I bought was a brand new Honda Wave. That was such a great bike. Since that time I have had 6 or 7 other bikes and all of them were 2nd hand. The latest bike that I bought was a Yamaha Nuevo and I have it now. I got it from some dude for 4 million VND and that is about $150 or so. I kind of assumed that it was going to have big problems but it doesn't and all of the little shops can work on it for very cheap.

It looks like you know how to work on the bike yourself so that is cool and even cheaper.

I love these bikes and think they are a great way to get around. Nice work on your new purchase!
