RE: MY INTERNAL CRITIC HAS A NAME — AND SHE NEVER SLEEPS__WEEK308

I think we all have that critical voice in our head. Learning to trust yourself is hard because that inner voice is in a way, a form of abuse I suppose; the voice of the enemy (the Devil); a relative who never had anything positive to say about us. I rebuke that voice as often as I can and remember that no real 'friend' would say those things. It is hard to not listen or to get it to shut up, but keep on defying the voice!

Thanks for sharing and have a lovely day! !LADY

Hi @elizabethbit thank you so much for this sis 💛

You said it perfectly — that voice really is a form of abuse. I love how you said you rebuke that voice and remember that no real friend would say those things. That is powerful!

That line you said "voice of the enemy, a relative who never had anything positive to say" — that hit me deep. That is exactly how she sounds.

Thank you for encouraging me to keep defying the voice. I will keep trying. Your words made my morning.

Have a lovely day too, my Lady🤗

Hi @yalloveme! I am touched with your kind words! I completely understand where you are coming from. My own critic has been loud pretty much my whole life. I've gotten better at not listening and giving it over to God, but there are times......

Take care and have a lovely day!🤗🌹 !INDEED
