Just curious if you find it useful in daily life?
I enjoy math myself and I have always told my son's to do the math because when you look behind the numbers in everyday life it makes a difference on how you think and how you buy.
I had to laugh when my oldest son told me he went on a date and he got talking about vehicle fuel economy. I taught him to calculate how much he will spend on his trips and think about how much every trip costs. He was amazed when his date had no clue how much fuel her vehicle used and just paid every week whatever it cost to fill up the tank.
I'm also curious. Do you like math for its usefulness or just because it is a problem to solve? Algebra and solving for a unknown is cool. Using Calculus and figuring out something to the limit is kind of cooler. Solving for "exactly how much weight can I add until this breaks" and stuff like that.
Anyways, thanks for the article.
I like math as a whole, like logic, problem solving, and stuffs around math. I do think that math is useful in daily life because we need to calculate things like budgeting and stuffs for that day, week, and month. !wine
