Back in elementary school, I also got to experience cooking like this, using firewood. One of the things I hated most was when the fire took like forever to catch, it really tested your patience. And then there was the smoke getting into your eyes while you kept blowing on the fire just to keep it going.

But I don’t regret experiencing that way of cooking. Looking back, it was actually a good practice in patience and taught me how to be more patient and persistent.
