@bitterirony and I grew up in the tiniest county of Texas. We will always love BBQ brisket. Beans, too. And coleslaw. The grilled cornbread. Don’t forget the corn on the cob!!

I didn't get to try any beans, but I kind of wish I had instead of the potato salad now. I guess I am just going to have to go back!
Well, if you’re in central Texas, particularly around Gruene or New Braunfels, the photo salad, * Kartoffelsalat* is not to be missed.
