I understand kids complaining that school wasn't cancelled. I did the same when I was a kid. But these days it seems like parents also complain, which I don't understand. As a parent I want my kids to get an education and I trust the school will be warm, so going there is a win. But I don't know. I'm out of touch, I suppose.

Believe it or not, it's mostly the staff that do the complaining. They are honestly the worst!
