Well, seems like you do live in an area where owning a generator is a bit more intuitive, but this could also be a tiny hint to others. Preparation probably won't do any damage, so better be equipped. I guess at least a larger battery and a solar panel should be owned by everyone.

Solar is definitely something I have my eye on. The generator is one of those things that is kind of like insurance. You hope you never need it, but when you do, you are glad you have it. Okay, I guess it's better than insurance these days! :)
