The frog who blows up isn't usually the one who was wrong.
He's the one who was right four times, got loud about it, bet the whole pond on the fifth — and never got a sixth. Being correct is cheap. Surviving long enough to be correct again is the entire game.
Everyone screenshots the entry. Nobody screenshots the position size. But size is the only variable that decides whether a bad call is a bruise or a funeral.
Run the frog math:
Same calls. Same win rate. Completely different frog at the end of the month. The chart didn't ruin anyone — the size did.
Here's the part that isn't about math at all. When the position is too big, you stop reading the market and start reading your own heartbeat. You hold the loser because selling makes the pain real. You dump the winner early because you can't stand the swing. Oversizing doesn't just risk your capital — it quietly deletes your judgment right when you need it most.
Size small enough that any single trade is boring, and suddenly you can actually see the pond again.
Pick the size where being completely wrong still lets you show up tomorrow. Then go find your setup.
Not the size where being right makes you a legend. The size where being wrong makes you fine. Legends get interviews. Survivors get compounding — and compounding is the only frog that ever gets rich slowly.
None of this is a signal, a call, or advice — just the oldest law of the pond. 🐸
Green candles are loud. Position sizing is quiet. Guess which one keeps you in the water.
