Yah In Canada it's basically 3 service providers and 1/3 is down.
Cyber security threat? 15 hours no service:
- 911 effected
- Some police services effected
- No Cell Service
- No internet Service
- No Credit Card / Debit
Yah.. crypto is decentralized, but it relies on the internet.
Keep this in mind. I know some people literally melting down because they have no cash, no service etc..

All the crypto indeed relies on the internet. I have diversify my holdings and also got few wallets. Even though wallet can have multiple crypto, I have Litecoin for one wallet. And I have BTC in other wallet !
The cryptocurrency must be exploited in real life by buying gold and silver coins. Anything that depends on Internet can become hacked.
Cash gets devalued so fast now but you have to have some for these instances. I give people so much shit for not having any cash at all. They won't even ask me to borrow ten bucks for lunch anymore because I will give them a lecture. Don't even get me started on the precious metals. lol
