I laughed all the way through thinking of your wife with that t-shirt. Did she change it? Because if you thought that, sure as hell some students might. It's a cute thing to do though - I used to put posters up around the classroom. One of my favourites was about 'can't...YET' which my students would always say after I trained them in this positive mindset. It helped them see their learning differently. But I think stupid people can't even go that far.
