You just said a lot of interesting things here, some parents don't see it as a point of duty to get themselves involved in the children's home work. It can be so draining as you said especially with two kids. Personally, I got my first child involved to help teach the sister at some points.

Some teachers just go there for the pay and no single passion whatsoever. We keep doing our best as some kids don't have the right environment at home
