Sorry @jk6276 to be the bad guy here, but...
Maybe I'm in the dark in the matter, but I see no signs of Hive appreciating in value. We had HiveFest and the only positive outcome of it was Leo&Dash cooperation.
At the very beginning of this discussion we need to ask whether the presented options fit into our getting rich slowly principle and the risks levels are acceptable.
I thought this project was to be dull, like glacier - expanding slowly but with force that is able to create mountains.
To answer your questions:
- No. Hive is not going to grow by itself and crypto bull season is not happening. I acknowledge that we can compound HBD interests ourselves and don't need LBI to do it for us, but HBD has already proven and tested, it kept value while other assets kept declining. HBD is our safe space, it keeps growing provides revenue to fuel riskier projects.
I don't want to gamble with 6th part of our wealth. This project was never about gambling.. Ekhm sorry trading.
I might be more open to unstake smaller quantities of HBD if you have any indications Hive price will go up, which would allow us to rebuy more HBD
- As above
- It's no go zone. Second layer projects are risky and we're not here to risk, I'm happy with your current approach to them (investing mostly by delegating HP, we risk lucrum cessans, profits, not the asset itself). We all take advantage of EMP APRs, but let's not lie ourselves - it's not risk free and it relies mostly on people's trust (not numbers).
- I'd go for keeping HBD as long as it provides us with current APR, if it goes down, we should put a part of it into HP, so that we support the Hive, which is the foundation of it all.
