RE: How it was impossible to return a plastic bottle with 50 Forint deposit in Budapest.

We have the same system here. It doesn't work very well, but where I live we have enough stores who accept the bottles. I'm happy I don't have to bother with the empty bottles, as this chore has been assigned to my teenage son who gets to keep the money.
