Here

We got informations saying; a circuit explosion from the main plant occurred and not being able to distribute electricity to the people living at southwest region of Nigeria. The people had cried out for weeks now but no solution to the issue.

Businesses are running at loss, not being able to preserve most products.

It has being an issues on myself,
Since by gadgets needs to be powered by electricity and the internet world is what makes my life fun and getting awareness around me.

Aside from powering my gadgets;
getting this blackout solved became a primary attention due to my approaching exams.

HIVE GOT ME AN ELECTRIC GENERATOR.
So I had to sell part of my hive and got myself an electric generator. It was a Nigerian used, but could power my apartment conveniently.

I would love to share my analysis of costs getting the solution solved.

I got a Thermocool electic generator and had a capacity of 1.8kva, it was a copper coiled engine to resist any high impact of electricity jam while in use.

Expenses.

  • Generator- 54 dollars
  • Repairs and servicing- 18 dollars
  • Apartment wiring connections- 10 dollars
  • Petroleum- 2.5 dollars
  • Total- 84.5 dollars

I had being saving for sometime now to really get one because I needed to put a stop to the discomfort of this blackout, since the day we had a whole month blackout last year. I had saved 43 dollars from side jobs and Hive helped out with the rest at the market price of 1.2 dollars. It wasn’t comfortable withdrawing part of my hive but I needed the payment done to acquire this asset.

PICTURES OF MY ELECTRIC GENERATOR.

This was when it got dismantled for servicing and changing of oil, carburetor and spark plug ignition. When I got it from the former owner he told me it’s been long the generator worked and was smoky. So I and the engineer got solutions Changing things that made it smoky and loud in use.

At this point I helped in the assembly of the electric generator and used fuel in cleaning the body to make it look neater.

Other views of the electric generator.

Using this medium to say a Big thank you 🙏 to HIVE and it’s tribes for the support on my first Engine.

Now I have limited excesses on not being online of the Hive ecosystem only if it’s due to a personal issues.

Although there’s a fall in the market, it was able to solve my challenges. Now I can also work and earn investing into the Hive I sold little by little.

I shared this just to tell all Hivers that there’s always hope when you believe in something deeply.

PEACE.
Thank you all for the audience. One love my people.
