Hive Power Up for May the 1st & account growth!
Hive Power Up!
Since a month or two I've been saving up my Hive again to power up on the Hive Power Up Day #HPUD event.
I used to power up regularly during the month, which isn't strange because that way you can 'enjoy' your larger stake immediately. The added Hive Power will result in slightly higher curation rewards.
But since all my posts are configured to 100% Hive Power, the extra Hive I receive during the month isn't that much. It's mainly rewards for delegating some HP to my own @topcomment project (which pays out in liquid Hive), rewards I get for interacting on Snaps and some random other transactions.
After all I still received a nice 377 Hive, which I have upvoted this morning.
Account growth
My account grew to a stake of 53.898 HP in the past 30 days (this is including todays Power Up). That an increase of 2.272 Hive.
After the Hive Power Up Day of April I was ranked 402 in the HiveBuzz list of accounts with the most Hive Power (https://hivebuzz.me/ranking). This month I've climbed up to place 392!
If I can manage to collect the same amount of Hive every month, my next goal: becoming an orca will be reached earlier than I thought.
The first orca with the lowest HP is on place 353 with 61.811 HP at the moment.
I was quite active with blogging last month, so I doubt if I will get the same amount of Hive in the next months too. But I'll do my best.
I think it must be doable to become an orca before the end of 2026!
Let's see if that will happen...

I hope to see you reach orca fairly soon. I'm trying to power up a bit each month to get a boost. Percentage-wise my increase is slower :)

When I consistently post quality blogs and thrnprice stays this low I might indeed be an orca soon.
