Sunday Visit to Flea Market
Hello Friends,
We visited the Ferikoy Flea Market today and bought some little bit stuff there. It was not antique but some wax candles. We had a very fun day.
Our thing is when we go to the Flea Market we have breakfast there for sure. There is a "gozleme" (a pancakish stuff filled with mince, cheese, etc.) corner and a fresh juices place inside the market.
It was delicious, healthy and very fulfilling breakfast. Then we started walking around. Here are the photos:
This place also serves as the organic food market in another day.
There are tons of different porcelains around. You can find very elegant English, Chinese and German porcelains. Prices changes between $8 to $25
You can find all kinds of weird and intersting stuff.

Ahh, that walkman is my husband @casimirio used to have. But it somehow got stolen at some point. Maybe it's this one, who knows? (Don't worry, I'm not blaming those sellers. It's just a fantasy 😉)

These are the wax candles we bought. They have no chemicals or paraben inside.
Dream sunglasses counter. You can bargain on a model you like!
Lots of books also. I like books on art and philosophy.

Nice! My partner and myself are often going to a Flea market in Tiel, The Netherlands, so nice to just watch people on those markets, we do love that ....

I used to go walking around flea markets for entertainment when I didn't haven't alot of money. Sure can find a bunch of interesting things. There was one I could walk to. Is Ferikoy the city you live in? Where is that?

It's a neighborhood in one of the busiest districts (Sisli District, 300K population) of Istanbul, Turkiye. It's a 20 min walk from my home. I also like it so much. !CTP

That is pretty awesome. I used to hit the flea market quite a bit when I was younger. These days I don't get to them as much as I used to. There just isn't anything I really need. It is always fun to browse though. I found this post on listnerds and it was a joy to read.
Thanks for stopping by, it's always relaxing to see all those things all together. They seem to hold memories of their past users and I like thinking like that.
Obviously, that car and hunting accessories are my preference :)

I love Flea Markets with antiques and older goodies! I could spend hours in an Antique Store, haha.
We did spend 1.5 hours there, but he usually get bored and go outside sit in a cafe, waiting for me 😅
