As I mentioned a few days ago in another post we are currently being very creative at home, both my daughter and I are creating cool things, if I may say so myself. I blame the excitement and pre-inspiration on the upcoming emigration to Spain. I feel so much lighter since the date has been chosen, the tickets have been booked. Knowing that soon we will be back in the country that I missed for 4,5 years is enough to get my inspiration flowing again. It makes me so happy and it's noticeable in the creative flows that appear more often.
Today I want to show you the first actual art collab that I did with my daughter, in terms of me starting the artwork while she finishes it totally how she decided to do so. I have not interfered with her part of the painting at all and I actually felt this might be a very cool one once finished.
Once upon a time, there was me, all excited to create things with my watercolor pencils from Faber Castell, they are so nice! But there's also me that just tries something without knowing the actual technique of a medium and hoping it turns out nice enough to share with the world. I have no actual knowledge about how to draw and paint and such other than by trial and error. Often this means that I get stuck on a drawing or painting, this one was no different, I will show you where I stopped drawing and coloring:
As you can see, I did some coloring but plenty of the colors was a bit disappointing (read: the way I mixed them haha) and therefore I never finished it. It must have been in the box with unfinished drawings for two years at least now. While I'm going through all these items to sell or give away, the box with unfinished paintings and drawings was opened and that's where the idea started to ask my daughter if she'd like to finish it. She was all excited and so I let her pick some acrylic colours to start painting.
We started with these soft pastel colors but at some point, she requested red and a few others. Let's check out how this painting slowly turned into a finished artwork thanks to my very creative and patient daughter. She took her time for this one! It must have been two hours at least and she was totally zen while doing it. I loved seeing her paint this way!
Here's the artist to work for some Proof Of Art / Proof Of Paint, whatever you prefer!
Now that's what I call a very cool artwork! I told her this one was going to be minted as an NFT, she was very proud, I can tell you. She has heard us talk about NFTs a lot and I told her I'd create a post about the painting as well as mint it so that someone can buy it. Of course, she couldn't wait, even though it took me a few days to do it.
I wasn't quite sure anymore on how to create the thumbnail, and although I followed the size directions in the FAQ on the website when I uploaded it, it was very low quality while the original image is sharp. Therefore I thought, let's just upload that one and hope all goes well.
So as you can see above, it shows a perfect image, so I thought this is great! But then I checked the page with freshly tokenized art:
Click here to buy this NFT :-)
And as you can see the image is turned there. Hopefully, someone can look through this little error I made. I'm sure I will figure it out at some point, haha. Luckily you can see the image correctly when you click on it.
Why 2 you may wonder? Well, I want to keep 1 edition of all our art collabs so that in the future, I can send them to my daughter. I envision us creating artworks for many years to come and this way we can slowly see her growth while she learns new things I would love for her to have the full collection even though we may end up not having them all offline as well. I minted 2 editions and kept the number two for ourselves while listing edition 1 for 33 Hive.
Why 33 Hive? Because I think it's worth that and my life path number is 33, I thought I should keep it in the double digits as it's a master number. If you want to support this cool kid of mine by buying this work, make sure you grab it as there is only one of these babies for sale. I think if this one sells, she will be so proud! She was glowing when I showed her that this one was minted and listed for sale. Will never forget that cute face of hers when I showed her earlier today!

This is brilliant!
Talking about the economics first, I find it so witty how you're investing in the future of your child with her being SO part of it! Seeing it evolve in the future, being her own handcraft, explaining her, investing in crypto and nft, it's all so cool and beautiful! <3
AND THE ART IS SO PRECIOUS! I would have totally bought the physical one as I love pastels, and flowers, and the background kind of makes me think in Monet and Van Gogh 💜 I'm so glad you both sold it so quick, it's worth every single Hive! Tell your daughter I'm looking forward to see more art from her, loved the pop of color the red added to the whole painting!
Beautiful work of art, congratulations, it was great. Besides spending quality family time in this activity the little ones learn teamwork, cooperation and above all motor skills.
Blessings!
Yes all great things :)
This is really beautiful. Moreover, it creates a strong bond between you and your daughter. I love the "abundance of colors".
Thank you and I agree, it's very nice to be able to do this together..
Great work to both of you. I wish you luck on your NFT sale.
Thanks :) it's been sold :)
Oh, congratulations (^_^)

Beautiful work, it really shows talent. I think painting is one of the purest forms of expression that exists because that is a gift a unique talent that makes us capture our perception of the world. Really a very good job.
Thank you! Yes, that's why I try to motivate her to paint more often because sometimes she wants to watch her tablet instead and I just see how zen she becomes while creating painting instead of watching cartoons. I'm glad she enjoys it so much as I see she can develop some serious skills :)
Wow, that is pretty awesome. I don't have an artistic bone in my body, so I am really impressed by this. I have a friend who made some his art into NFT's. I picked up a piece or two. Awesome stuff! I found this post on List Nerds.
Thank you! I'm very proud as you can imagine :)
Very nice!! Love that you made an NFT of it!
Thank you! Yeah, we have been talking about NFTS a lot and this one was finished so I thought, let's do it. It will be fun to see her progress over the years ..
Yes! I think it will be very cool to see what else she will draw. It´s beautiful!

That is really cool to include your daughter's talents as well as your own.
Thank you @beststart it's a fun thing to do together and I bet it will happen more often!
She's got "the eye". Cool art collab and I'd say, "on to many many more".
Yes, for sure. :)
When you realize a child is better than you at painting
No, not like that at all :)
I'm so proud <3
I was talking about myself lol!

She has a real eye for colour. That red really changed up the vibrancy and energy of the painting.
yes, I agree! Loved it when she added that :)
Congrats to both of you! Love the burst of pastels! ❤️ 💐 Good luck on the sale.
Thank you :) It's been sold already :) Wish I had captured that moment of pride on camera, the cutest thing ever!
