Thank you for enjoying this piece, @kiriszrokk. It was a multi-faceted story... the struggles within mirrored without and vice versa... and yes... I adore the mountains. That is quite perceptive of you. They are indeed my happy place. I feel so at peace when I am amongst them. I truly find peace and relaxation there that I don't find anywhere else on Earth. I understand you completely in regards to your happy place. The same applies to me when I'm scuba diving. The underwater world is my favorite "dimension" so to speak ;) And yes, I'll definitely look out for part 2 as I'm really curious as to how two different authors each with its unique style can keep the suspense and make the story come across as one single piece.
