El rostro del doctor Melcay reflejaba un rojo intenso, acompañada con una sonrisa tímida. «Señor presidente, no se moleste. Yo solo soy un servidor del gobierno con el sueño de ver un mejor país».

«Lo esta logrando, doctor. Ahora hay que empezar a suministrar las primeras vacunas a los grupos de drogadictos y alcohólicos, luego seguiremos con los demás. Debo recordarles que esto es secreto de estado, y lo que diremos a la ciudadanía es que es una nueva vacuna para combatir una nueva cepa del virus K2. ¿Entendieron señores y señoras?».

El doctor Melcay quedó asombrado por lo que escuchaba. Inmediatamente, trato de comunicarse con el equipo de asesores del presidente, pero no hubo respuesta, así que tomó su chaqueta y salió hacia el palacio de gobierno.

Al llegar se encontró con los agentes de seguridad del palacio. «Buenas noches, necesito pasar a ver al presidente».

En su apartamento, el doctor Melcay se iba a disponer a descansar cuando escuchó unos golpes fuertes en la puerta, salió a ver quién era. Los agentes habían ido tras él. «Doctor Melcay, por órdenes del presidente queda usted detenido, por espionaje».

El doctor Melcay quedó atónito por la situación que presenciaba, «¿Espionaje? ¿Acaso están bromeando, muchachos?».

«No es broma, debe acompañarnos. No sé resista y venga con nosotros». Los agentes esposaban al doctor Melcay y lo sacaban del apartamento. En ese momento los vecinos empezaron a reunirse alrededor de los agentes y se hizo una gran conmoción.

Melcay aprovechó la confusión y escapó dejando a los agentes confundidos, ahora era un criminal según el gobierno y debía ser detenido a como diera lugar. Desde la clandestinidad, el científico empezó a informar a los medios de comunicación sobre las vacunas y los microchips inoculados a la población para controlarlos y manejarlos a su antojo.

La teoría de Melcay fue tachada se absurda y sin sentido por el gobierno, incluso el presidente se inyectó la sustancia para probar a los ciudadanos que era segura. Lo que la gente no sabía era que la inyección no tenía los microchips.

El doctor Melcay fue catalogado como loco y que solo pretendía desestabilizar el país.
