Abduction

“How did I end up here?” The glaring white lights didn't let him see very well. “Why did they tie me up, what did I do to deserve this?” he thought as he struggled to get out of there.

The glaring lights were uncomfortable for his eyes, he had to keep them constantly closed to avoid going blind. In his mental darkness he kept wandering between thoughts and memories that became melancholic longings.

He heard the sound of a door sliding, something like an automatic door. He heard sounds that he did not understand, like uncontainable murmurs. He opened his eyes, but that light did not let him see who was in that place.

He tried to scream, but he couldn't, he had a gag in her mouth. The words sounded like muffled sounds and a desperation invaded him, making him think that perhaps his death had come. He kept struggling to try to get out of that captivity, but everything was fruitless.

The voices continued to be heard and suddenly some shadows obstructed the dazzling light. He opened his eyes and looked at some elongated heads that moved robotically, it was not the natural movement of a person. He could not detail the face very well since the play of light and shadow made a perfect camouflage.

He heard almost guttural whistles, it seemed a form of communication between those shadows. They kept moving around him. A detailed expertise showed those beings as they probed every nook and cranny of that innocent man's body.

He could see the hands had three very long fingers and at the end of each one there was like a suction cup or something similar. He felt ants crawling across his skin, he let out barely audible moans. The giant heads seemed to stare at him intently, then those whispers grew faster and longer.

“What will they do to me?” he asked himself without an answer.

Instead the whispers had become a constant, as those long fingers ran all over his body. He kept moving violently trying to escape, but at that moment he felt a blade piercing his skin.

The desperate cries of the man were absorbed by the gag, he continued to move violently and his eyes expelled pleading tears, but those creatures were only interested in exploring that organism and seeing the functioning of each organ. The guttural whispers continued to haunt the place and the indifference continued to revolve around the sufferer.

The blood continued to gush as the unfortunate man screamed behind the gag. Each cut was a small death for him, at one point in that agonizing pain he came to wish for death, now it seemed to him a wonderful way out of that burning and indolent pain.

The whispers continued to flow, as the man felt those hands digging inside him, tearing at every organ as the pain intensified and became unbearable. He grew tired of screaming, of crying, of living, and he faded away, shut down like a monitor, and darkness replaced the intense light.

In that darkness he felt rest, relieved of that intense pain, he smiled. His body seemed to levitate and began to move towards a light that suddenly appeared, he was attracted with such force that he began to travel at great speed. His eyes watched as the light grew larger and larger.

The only thing he could do was to cover his eyes with his arms and wait for his destiny towards the unknown. The light surrounded him and his whole being was swallowed by that intense glow, after all this an agonizing scream and then calm.

He opened his eyes and saw himself in a bed, in a white room, machines that made a cyclical beeping sound every so often. On both sides he could see beds and people sleeping. On his arm was a hose from which a liquid was dripping.

The silence was interrupted by a sweet voice, “Sir, how are you feeling?” A beautiful nurse was addressing the man.

“Where am I?” The man asked in a daze.

“You're at Memorial Hospital, don't you remember anything?” The nurse was adjusting the man's pillow.

“Evidently not.” The man looked at her quizzically.

“You were admitted with severe symptoms of appendicitis. We had to operate on you as an emergency, because your life was at risk. Now you are out of danger. You are very lucky."

“I don't remember anything, only that I was in my house and I saw a blinding light.” The stunned man looked at the nurse.

“Don't worry. He is in shock from the operation, he will gradually come back to his reality.” The nurse smiled.

The nurse left the room and the man was left in a limbo of memories. The woman in white was walking down the dark corridor and suddenly her eyes began to glow, then she disappeared in a beam of light and a guttural whisper could be heard in the empty corridor.

Abducción

«¿Cómo vine a parar aquí?».

¿Acaso no recuerda nada?». La enfermera acomodaba la almohada del hombre.

«Evidentemente no».

Very interesting your story, that gentleman heard those noises as a product of his imagination, since he was hospitalized and had an appendicitis operation. When he woke up, he no longer heard anything. Have a nice night
