MY LIFE WITH SABARI (MY PET 🐕)

Hello IndiaUnited family, welcome to my entry for this week's contest.

Do I currently have a pet? Yes! I have a beautiful dog and her name is SABARI. She is a small white fluffy dog, and she is like my little sister.

Before I had SABARI, I thought having a pet is just for oyinbo people or rich people. I thought it's stressful. But now I understand what it means to have a companion who loves you without condition.

SABARI came into my life 20222 At first she was shy and always hiding. But after one week, she became the queen of my house. She follows me everywhere - to the kitchen, to the bathroom, even when I want to take selfie like you see in my pictures, she will put her face.

What do I love most about having a pet? The unconditional love. SABARI does not care if I have money or not, if I am sad or happy. When I come back from any place tired and stressed, she will jump on me, wagging her tail, licking my face. All my stress will disappear. Shre makes my house feeel alive. When I am aloone, I am never reeally alone because she is there sleepiing beside me. She has taugght me patirence and respoonsibility.

But I will not lie, the hardest part of taking care of a pet is the responsibility. It's like having a baby. You must feed her at the right time, you must clean after her, you must bathe her, you must take her to vet. Sometimes she will mess up the house and I will be angry, but I cannot beat her. And the most scary part is when she is sick. One time SABARI was not eating for two days and I was crying, I could not sleep. I took her to the vet and spent money I wanted to use for something else. That is love.

Also, taking her out is not easy. People in my area look at me like "why is she carrying dog like baby?" But I don't care.

Having a pet has changed me. I am more caring now, more responsible, and I have learned that love does not need to be only from humans. Animals can love better.

If you are thinking of having a pet in the future, please do it, but only if you are ready to give time and love. They are not toys, they are family.
