Squid Game is my favourite series/mpvie
In the year 2021, one TV series that won my heart was premiered, and that series is Squid Game. It is a Korean series and was, and still is, well recognised worldwide. The hype it received when it was premiered was truly worth it.
Why the movie is my favourite:
I have watched many movies and series with perfect storylines and excellent acting, but I found Squid Game to be outstanding. The storyline is very catchy and easy to understand. It does not require watching many scenes before understanding what the series is all about. The plot is extremely good.
The games, which appeared simple literally, are very interesting because of the deadly and “no mercy” penalties attached to them. Just like the first game of season one, Green Light, Red Light, it was underestimated by the participants, and they called it a simple game, which it actually is. However, the end result justified that it was tough—simple to play but deadly as well—which made it very interesting. That first game really captured my interest and positioned me for the dramatic treat ahead.
The fighting scenes, which include the shooting scenes, are also very interesting and captivating. I like the fact that it was not just a game movie but was also coupled with sporadic shooting scenes, which added more intensity to the series.
After season one, the anticipation for the release of season two was out of this world. I waited for a long time with a strong urge to watch and see what season two would hold. My heart was fully invested in the season. When season two was finally released, it matched the hype it had received before its release. Season two was well crafted, with an even deeper and more interesting plot, especially concerning how the game was organised again after the location was partially discovered by the police at the end of season two.
Season three also gave me a good treat, and I can confidently say that everything about the series is top-notch. I love it so much that, from time to time, I rewatch it to feed my eyes and mind again with this great movie.
