Why India’s youth are tired and it’s not laziness

source

Hmmm, it is very difficult, tough and irrational to think that the youths or the young generation are less hardworking than they should be or the previous generations but so far i have come to see that then world just has a totally different perspectives towards them that are most likely wrong or untrue.

Sometimes what we think or believe is most likely not what it should be but we are filled with cliches, talks from other people and trends. They fill our hearts so fast that we start to assume it has been like that since inception or that it is already normal, such that when it is talked about in the public or in a circle the response will be affirmative just because over time it has been said or falsely believed to be true.

Now i know that this might sound very crazy but well it is the biggest truth on earth! look... everyone for some generally not acceptable reason, now believes that the new youthful generation with the term Gen Z are very lazy, some even dont say it and stop at that but they add that the previous generation of youths recognised as Gen X are still more hardworking and focused than these young millennials some even go direct to say that the Gen Z are a bunch of lazy people. Do you think the same as well? are they lazy or they are just overwhelmed? look there are a whole lot of things to talk about here so we get clarity and accept the young generation better or understand them better. We can all agree how fast time flies and how modernization/civilization is moving at a crazy pace... it indirectly makes room for pressure, scarcity and a whole lot of high expectations from other people. Now in our world today education is a very big aspect and we can all agree te system and degrees are not exactly as same as the old ages, even the process to get through it isnt the same, in these our modern days we have a whole lot of pressure on academics and this begins from childhood, unlike the older days when our parents could just enjoy at the farm and still be rich as a farmer but in our dispensation everyone wants you to be white collar, engineer or a doctor without bringing into consideration the challeneges and field of interest of the person in question. Another thing is competitive exams culture, where we no longer focus on being tested practically about what we really know but we are forced to write exams with an expectation to meet a high score that does not guarantee anything substantial. Asides from that we still have more problems that the Gen Z cant explain, imagine that a very large proportion of them have degrees but a job has never been guaranteed, then family end extended family keeps pressuring them as well coupled with the social media pressure and early success narration it is very hard or impossible for them to stay happy.

source

All of these gives them mental burnout and many at times they fall into depression, some will even become suicidal, it may be like that in previous generation but i can tell you that the rate now is so uncomprehendable to the Gen X. All i am hoping to see is a Gen Z with more skill development, more emotional support, no comparism and we should all come ttogether to redifine success, that way our Gen Z will be stable enough to be our good leader of tommorrow. Do you think they are lazy or exhausted?
