Hello friends, #indiaunited lovers i wish you all a nice week and hope youre having a great day yet. Been a while since i made a post here but seeing this prompt triggered a whole lot of memories and its a very relatable one so i decided to make it an avenue to share my experience because i believe that it was never easy for anyone to develop a skill and master it perfectly not to even make it a life changing tool or to at least monetise the skill we have acquired.
when people see the success of other creatives or artisans they tend to admire the finished product alone, how the talents or skills now look well polished that some may even dtart to think it is beyond the regular. In most cases a whole lot of work and efforts have been put in place to ensure a consistent proof of good work ethics and also a whole lot of time to keep rediscovering themselves in and out of different things before finally getting a solid grip on one.
Thats why i would always advice people to not leave the line of their passion, i mean everyone is born differnt as we have unique skills, mindset, abilities which gives us all a unique dream or goal so it safer to do something that you naturally enjoy, it shouldnt feel like work or wearisome, thats the only way to survive the storms and get a hold of the life changing moment.
Well in my case it wasn’t any different, i hard a really tough time finding a very strong ground to monetise the skill that i feel very passionate about. All my life i have been a lover of arts and music and this line is really hard to develop to such a g’obal or acceptable standard that makes you professional and monetizable, tho i started it for the love of it without any business kinda thoughts at least i was just a teenager. Music was more of the fun for me as i got to use or see the facilities or musical instruments once in a while so whenever i did i always poured out my heart and express all the plans and rehearsals ive had in my head. I was always drawing, every minute of the day and especially at night, at some point i became very good with the skill years and i was very close to becoming an adult so the pressure or the need to make money arose.
Then i made a whole lot of portraits for celebrites, stayed up all night retweeting a million times until it is seen but all efforts failed, i even got interviewed by a national TV station but still nothing happened, even the celebs that saw theirs eventually just reposted as their support but nothing substantial. years later after i graduated from university i learned the skill that changed my life, right now fun and passion pays my bills while i do what i love doing best. Why it was so easy is the fact that i never left my field of interest, i have been a creative all my life so i felt so fiffiled when i got into the SIGNAGES and branding business. We are responsible for all the beautiful modern brand logos and physical readers you see around today, not me alone but all the other guys in the field. It was easy to work with brands from the beginning wven until now, all we do is get their info to make what suits their brand best!, give the company a catchy face to soften the hearts of viewers.
attached to this post are pictures of my work, i hope you like them, i love the works and the skill because it changed my life ❤️🩹
