Today I am reviewing an IPL match In the high-voltage match of IPL 2026 today, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) faced each other at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Batting first, Josh English played a devastating innings for Lucknow. He gave a stormy innings of 85 runs in just 33 balls (10 fours and 6 sixes). Besides, Shahbaz Ahmed helped the team cross the 200-mark by scoring 43 runs off 25 balls. Among the Chennai bowlers, Jamie Overton took 3 important wickets for 36 runs.
Chennai's counter-attack, the Chennai openers started off well by chasing runs. However, the real hero of the day was Urvil Patel. He turned the match around with an innings of 65 runs off just 23 balls, which included 8 huge sixes! Captain Ruturaj Gaikwad strengthened the foundation for victory by scoring 42 runs off 28 balls.
