Hello everyone,
How are you all? I hope everyone is fine and doing great in their life.
So friends, I am back with another Splinterlands blog, and today a new season has started, if I am not wrong. That means the end-of-season rewards are now being distributed to all eligible players.

Sadly, I did not play much in Modern battle mode during the last season, so I do not think I will receive many Glints this time. However, in this new season, I am planning to spend more time in Modern mode alongside Frontier mode.
Anyways, let us head over to the mana well and see what we have today.
Today, I only had four Foundation chests, and we decided to open all of them. Honestly, Foundation chests have not made me very happy over the last few days, so I was not expecting much from them.

In the screenshot below, you can see all the cards I won from the packs, and sadly there was nothing special today. In fact, I did not even get a single epic card. The only card that made me somewhat happy was the Archon card, but even that was not enough to make the pack opening exciting.

But that is how pack openings work sometimes. On some days they are amazing, while on other days they are disappointing.
In the screenshot below, you can also see that I am still in Gold League 1 in Frontier battle mode. I plan to continue playing Frontier mode while also focusing on Modern mode this season.

Now let me take you all to the battle arena and share an interesting battle I played today.
My opponent also came with a level 4 Archon, just like me, but I think the main difference was the positioning of the monsters. That is what gave me the upper hand in the battle.
In the screenshot below, you can see the battle lineup. Both of us used the max-level Fire summoner, and overall the teams looked quite similar. The main difference was the positioning.

In Round 3, shown below, the battle was 4 vs 6. I had not lost a single monster, while my opponent had already lost two monsters.
The biggest mistake my opponent made was placing a ranged attack monster in the first position while keeping a melee monster at the back.

In the next screenshot, you can see Round 4 where the opponent’s Ash Archer moved to the first position and could no longer attack. That is why this monster should have been placed at the back from the beginning.

Finally, in the last screenshot, you can see the final blow delivered by my team, which secured the victory for me.

That is all I did in Splinterlands today. Even though I was disappointed with the pack openings, I am looking forward to this new season and hope to earn more Glints so that we can create better memories by the end of the season.
Now let me talk about Terracore.
In the screenshot below, you can see my Terracore base and all the attacks I used today. I earned around 1000 scrap, but honestly, I am not very happy with it.

Terracore has been a little disappointing for me over the last few days, so the best thing I can do now is continue upgrading my stats in the coming days.
But for now, that is all from Terracore.
Thank you.
