My Source Of Motivation

Life can be funny and unpredictable. One day you are so filled with happiness and full of confidence that you feel you can conquer the world, and the next, you are struggling with self-doubt and uncertainty, not sure what the future holds. It's as if the very things that once brought you peace, joy, and fulfillment suddenly start to make you question your abilities and purpose; everything seems to look bleak and hopeless. Makes you wonder if you are actually on the right path.

Life is full of ups and downs, and things don't really go the way we want or plan, so whenever I feel demotivated, I have found different ways to motivate myself, one of which is talking to someone I trust and feel would understand my situation at that moment, and this has been a game-changer for me. I am fortunate to have a few friends who we have all been together through thick and thin. We have managed to build a safe space for ourselves where we can share our thoughts, feelings, and experiences without the fear of being judged or condemned. A place where we don't feel ashamed of what we are going through or have been through.

Whenever I am feeling down or demotivated, I reach out to one of my friends; this also depends on the specific challenge or situation that I may be facing at that moment. Over time I have come to realize that each of my friends all have unique strengths and perspectives about life. Some are very amazing when it comes to listening, while others give valuable advice and encouragement. So depending on what is making me demotivated, I choose the right person to talk to. More often than not, after our conversations, I usually feel renewed, hopeful, and motivated and ready to tackle my challenges with a fresh perspective and hope.

Another thing that motivates me is going to the Bible and reading different scriptures on God's promises about my life. Reading the word of God brightens my day and makes me know that I am not alone in whatever I am going through in life.
