The life-changing skill

I think we're in a world where having a skill is important. We all need that extra source of income. Skills give us an edge because with it, we can make that extra income.

One skill that has changed my life is trading. By trading, I mean trading cryptocurrencies. Before I learnt this skill, I was struggling in my finances. My income just wasn't enough to cater for needs. I was hard trying to keep up with financial responsibilities.
I began learning to trade cryptocurrency. At first, it wasn't easy. I encountered some losses as I started. I persisted and I started to get the hang of it.

I had to learn how to trade by myself. I did a lot of research, watched a lot of videos, read a lot. It was fun learning. That's one thing that kept me going. It was fun learning to trade crypto and I easily loved it.

The struggles I faced initially was getting used to several trading platforms and concepts. Then I also struggled to minimise losses. In trading, risk management is everything. I learnt that when you manage your risk properly, you preserve your funds and reduce the magnitude of losses. The fact is, there will be losses. The important thing is to mitigate them.

Trading cryptocurrency has improved my income. At least I get something extra to pay my bills. The burden isn't as much as it used to be. I learnt to trade without getting my emotions involved. Trading taught me to be strategic. I set my trading plans and stick to them. This brings me to the fact that you need to have a trading plan. Jumping into trades just like that is a recipe for disaster. That's why I try to put my emotions in check when it comes to trading crypto.

I will admit, this is a skill I'm still improving. In life, there's always room to grow and be better. Everyday I try to be one percent better in trading. I find new strategies that work. It's a process and I try to enjoy it.

I don't know what life would have been like if I didn't learn this skill, but I'm glad I did.
