Pitching hive

If I were trying to convince someone to start their hive journey, I would just tell them about the benefits of being on hive.

First, hive is a Blockchain. People built amazing stuff on hive. Hive has been reliable over years. I have barely heard of a time when the hive chain has been down for a prolonged period. Hive is the place for builders. Not just builders, consistent builders. If you want to build something like a business, a game, a dapp, hive is a place where you can build without interruptions.

A good example of something thriving that is built on hive is splinterlands. There are several decentralized apps that have been built on the blockchain and they are thriving well.

Another thing is that hive is the place to express yourself. On hive, you can just write your thoughts. There are a lot of blogging platforms out there but for me hive just stands out. On hive, you can express your original thoughts freely. You can write for your readers and connect with them.

Hive also has communities where you get to connect with people of like minds. I believe there's a community for almost every interesting topic. In the various communities, you read interesting posts by others and they read yours. It's a good way to get entertained and also to get informed.
Now, to the more interesting reason. You get to earn on hive. Imagine earning for just sharing your thoughts. When you make posts and get curated, you earn. Some of the earnings are even vested in the form of hive power, which further boosts growth. Some people already use the earnings they get from hive to solve some of their little needs that may arise. It's a good way to add to your income, while writing.

To conclude, there are just a lot of perks to being on hive, it would only makes sense to join in on it. From the builders who want to build something incredible that people will use and love to those who just want to express themselves through their writing and makes friends, hive is the place to be.
