Money changes people
Money has the power to transform. Achieving significant financial success has a way of taking you to new levels.
I believe that having a lot of money is capable of changing people. It's could be a good change and it could be a bad change. I just believe that money is that powerful a transformation tool.
Whether money changes a person for the better or for the worst depends on the individual.
When you get money, it's as if limitations are taken off. You're able to get the things you want that would otherwise have been difficult. More things will be within your grasp.
You'll be able to buy what you want, pay for the services you want, and many other things.
Some people become better givers when they get money. They try to give more. They help as many lives at they can. For them, having more is an avenue to make impact. They create change with the money they've got.
Money gives power, and individuals could could use that power for good.
There's the other side of this. Money can bring out the worst in people. We've seen many cases where we saw how people become terrible because they got a lot of money. Some of such persons were probably good people before, but then they let the money and the power it brings get into their head. Such a situation where one has achieved financial success can make someone think they are above everyone else.
Because they have the money, they think no one can talk to them, advise them or even correct them. Pride sets in. Their ego gets bigger. Any ounce of humility that may have been present, evaporates. That is for those who let the money get to their head.
Some people even do bad things, commit crimes because they think they can get away with it because they have the money. Some times, they get away with the bad things they do. But what they fail to realize is that you can't get away with it all the time.
In conclusion, money indeed changes people. The direction in which it changes someone depends on that person. Whether a good person continues to be a good person after getting a lot of money totally depends on that person. If they develop bad characters because of the money, it's also the individual's choice.
