In a world where a lot of people are seeking for online opportunities that create financial freedom, getting people to join Hive which is a delayed gratification kind of opportunity is not really that easy. Even though the hustle is real and the opportunity vast. Especially when you come to terms with the fact that not everyone understands what web 3 is all about. I didn't understand it either, before I joined, but I did with the decision to learn as I go.
Hive is endowed with limitless opportunity but it takes patience, determination and a willing mind to thrive in it. Hyping the benefits of the platform just to onboard people will only get them frustrated within the shortest period of time if what they expected didn't measure up with what they see. The next thing you'd notice is their exit from the community, even when they get little or nothing using web 2 platforms with the same time and effort.

One thing I noticed on Hive is that it's a platform for those who are passionate about showcasing their God given talent in the most creative manner and creating original content, not copy and paste as is usually seen in their counterpart platform. Hive is not for the lazy minds, it's for those who know how precious every second of their time is and place much value on it by using it judiciously.
When I come in contact with prospective Hive users, my first selling point to convince them is that they have 100% security of their content. No one has the authority to take down their contents or account on the platform, unlike what is obtainable on Facebook, Instagram and the likes. Where you may wake up one morning and find out that the account or content you took time and efforts to build had been taken down. We see that happening so often.
My second selling point is that, in Hive, you don't need large or any followers to earn. You start earning the very moment you created your Hive account and started creating content but it has to be original, not copying other people's efforts without reference. This point hits them most, because they don't have to go through the rigorous process of having their accounts being monetized before they could earn. Again, the same time they spend surfing the web. 2 platforms without being paid is what they do and get paid on Hive.
One bitter truth I don't hesitate to tell a prospect is that you don't come to hive with a get rich - quick mentality because the money comes in bits. Hive doesn't promise you instant wealth but you're sure of building something huge over time with patience, wisdom and the right strategy. All one needs is just to focus on one's niche as one can't be everywhere. With these they get convinced and know more about the Blockchain as they interact with the system like I usually tell them.
Hive is like a university. There's a whole lot to learn which cannot be explained at once to an individual. But will keep exploring and being equipped with more knowledge as they progress in the system. This is how I convince intended Hive users.

Your points are valid, and just what every would-be user needs to know.
I always say that there's a community for everyone on Hive so many opportunities abound on Hive. But, it takes patience, commitment and a willing mind to actually thrive on Hive.
Marking money is possible, but it takes time... Not come today, hit am today. 😂
