10K Hive Power Milestone Achieved: Starting 2026 with a Power Up
Hello all lovely Hive Friends,
Its celebration time as its start of new year and also a time to look back into the past year to see our overall progress. Every year most of us in the start of the year, set some targets for the coming years and to achieve them divide those targets into some milestone. The review of those milestone is very important as they give us the true feedback and also encourage us which give us the positive energy to put all our best efforts to hit those targets. So lets see how was my progress and what are the final targets and what are the milestones I set to achieve them for new year.
It’s New Year’s Day, There is no better way to kick off the year than by celebrating Hive Power Up Day. Staking a significant amount today sets the perfect tone for a year of growth and influence in the ecosystem. At the start of year I set two major target to enhance my position on Hive Blockchain, First was to achieve the 10K Hive Power and the second was accumulating the 2k HBD in saving. The life become busy and the things do not goes as we planned, the last year was the year of ups an downs for me. Unfortunately I was not much active through out the year but in the last quarter, I try to pick my peace and start posting and engaging on regular basis and the results are inform of you.
Completed the 10k Hive Power Milestone
Today we are celebrating the first edition of Hive Power Up Day of the year 2026. I was not active in the last year so missed a number of events but today I powered up with good number (which are one of the best Power Up numbers for me till now) to compensate my absence in the previous year events.
Today before the power up I was holding 9250.103 HP, below is the screenshot before the power up.
Just to start I powerup with 11 Hives only which was just a start. I want to complete my milestone of 10k Hive Power so I again Power-up with 660 Hives, so he total Hive power was increased to 9,921.103.
I was still short by approximately 80 Hives. I was running out of liquid Hive so I decide to convert the HBD I was holding into Liquid Hive for power up. I mostly use the Swap Feature of @keychain dapp for converting not only the HIVE or HBD but also other second layer tokens like SPS , DEC etc. The process is very easy and smooth that with few clicks you can complete the transection.
In the above screenshot you can see I convert 10 HBD into 103.462 and used the 80 Hives to power up and completed the milestone of 10K Hive Power.

Progress over last 30 days
Sharing the screen shot form hivestats, the screenshot shows the progress over last 30 days and the earning over the last 30 days.
It clearly visible that I was almost posted 15 times which is 50% posting activity if consider the one post per day target. If I look at the author rewards then they are equals to the 630 Hive Power or 60 USD. Curation rewards were very less as they were not even equals to 1 USD. Hive price droped 0.1 USD and touches 0.06 also in last month of the year. When the give price is down it gives the opportunity and earn more gives as rewards, the rewards pool do not changes but we recieved the more hive equals to per USD rewards. Hive power not only increased the voting worth of the account but also give more resources to the account holder to interact more on chain. I will try to participate in the Monthly power up challange also, posting everyday with 100% power up option or power up manually everyday is the condition and remembering any one is the challange.
