The power of words This story comes from Autobiography of a Yogi. Yoganand Paramhans ji i.e. Mukund's elder sister Uma was applying ointment on the boil, then Mukund also started applying it on his wrist. Sister said why are you applying medicine?

Mukund innocently said that my hand is going to get boil and yours is going to be double that's why I am applying ointment. The next morning the same thing happened, in the morning the sister panicked and complained to the mother that Mukund had learned witchcraft. He made my boil bigger and made a boil in his hand. But the mother understood, she explained to Mukund, son, there is a lot of power in the word, use it wisely.

Paramhansa Yoganand ji says, the scar of the boil kept me alert throughout my life. Words spoken with truth and faith have the power of will. And with this power either the difficulties of life can be increased or the pain and difficulties can be eradicated.
