Anderson regresaba a verlos.

«Pecador, pecador, pecador, mi amo necesita tu alma. Jaja». La voz gutural se escuchaba más siniestra. «Ve con mi amo».

«No, Carry, por favor, vuelve en sí. Tú no eres asesina.

Jaja...».

The Halloween Mask

Final chapter

"Attention, attention, to all units. We have a 10-91, I repeat we have 10-91 in the park October 31. Proceed with caution." The officer's voice had a tone of urgency.

"Anderson, where's Carry?». The chief of police was entering the detective's office.

"I'm trying to call her, but she's not answering." Anderson wore a worried countenance.

"Do it in a hurry and go to the crime scene." The boss was leaving the office.

Anderson hurried out to Carry's apartment. The night was falling over the city, the moon high in the sky was accompanying the detective. After a few hours, Anderson arrived at Carry's apartment, knocked several times but there was no answer. He looked at his watch impatiently and hurried out to the 31st of October Park.

When Anderson arrived at the scene, the officers had the area cordoned off.

"Give me your report, Officer."

"38-year-old woman, Caucasian, slim build. The same modus operandi, of the other crimes." The officer was reading the notebook.

At that moment, Carry appeared. Anderson painted a smile.

"Carry, for God's sake, where have you been?"

The woman was staring at everyone without uttering a word, then her eyes started to glow with that orange glow, she levitated and extended her arms. Everyone was looking at Carry in terror, her body turned black and a mask appeared on her head. Then a sinister laugh invaded the whole place. One of the officers started shooting, but Carry disappeared.
Everyone watched in amazement, as the rain began to fall on the park. Anderson was running to the place where Carry was.

"Officers, be alert." Anderson was coming back to see them.

A powerful orange-colored lightning struck near the officers, who were left lying on the grass. Carry appeared and raised her arm, which transformed into a claw.

"I must get souls for him." A guttural voice came out of the mask.

Carry began to move quickly and insert the claw into the chest of each of the men, who were left dead. Chaos and terror gripped the officers who ran to save themselves. The heart-rending screams and gunshots were slowly starting to stop as Carry continued to end the officers' lives.

Anderson was running around with his gun all over the place, as he watched the bodies of the officers fall. After a while nothing more was heard, and the tense silence took the place. The man kept pointing his revolver everywhere.

"Carry, please stop doing this. Come to yourself."

The throaty laughter could be heard again in the park.

"Carry no longer exists." She was coming out of the trees with an officer standing up with one of her arms around his neck.

"Let it go, Carry. Don't do this, please."

"What will you do if I don't let him go?"

"Please, Carry, come to yourself." Anderson was pleading with him.

Carry looked at Anderson and lifted one of her arms and stuck it in the chest of the officer who had by the neck, extracting the energy, which turned orange from the heart. Anderson stared dumbfounded at that scene, then Carry laughed ominously.

"The fishermen must die, my master needs souls. Haha."

"Noooo!" Anderson was starting to shoot without contemplation.

Carry disappeared, while in the officer's body he fell to the wet grass, then everything was silent only with the sound of the rain. Anderson was still aiming at everyone, as he was getting closer to the officer. At that moment, Carry appeared out of nowhere and lunged at Anderson.

The man fell onto the grass, and the weapon went flying far away from him. Carry appeared over Anderson, laughing in a sinister way, and then raised his arm to plunge it into his chest.

"Sinner, sinner, sinner, my master needs your soul. Haha." The guttural voice sounded more sinister. "Go to my master."

"No, Carry, please come to. You're not a murderer. You are a great detective who seeks to protect, not murder. Please come back, come back!"

Carry covered her ears with her hands and began to scream. The guttural sounds were combined with Carry's voice, in a moment of lucidity, Carry took off his mask and ran up to take Anderson's gun, then put it on the hundred. Anderson looking at this ran towards Carry.

"Don't do it, Carry." Anderson was gesticulating dramatically.

"There is no other choice, I must do it or he will take possession of me again. I must avoid it at all costs and end this once and for all." Carry was holstering the gun.

"Please, Carry. You beat him. It's not necessary. Give me the gun." Anderson was moving toward Carry stealthily.
The woman was looking at Anderson and putting the gun down, while tears were streaming down her pale face.

"There is no other choice, there is no other option..." Carry's eyes were beginning to glow with an orange glow. "Go away, there's nothing more to do." Carry's voice had that guttural tone again.

"Noooo, Carry, don't do it!" Anderson was advancing on Carry.

At that moment, everything was going slower. Carry pointed the gun at her own temple and pulled the trigger; the bullet passed through her head. Anderson was falling on Carry's body, while a powerful orange lightning fell on the bodies.

Days later...

"They say it was a terrible massacre in the park on October 31, 10 officers were killed." A nurse was carrying a medicine in her hands.

"How horrible and did they catch the killer?" Another nurse asked.

"They only found a mask next to the detectives who were carrying the case." The nurses were coming into the room. "Unfortunately, the detectives had no better luck. Carry died at the scene and Anderson was left in a coma and it is not known if he will recover." The nurse would inject the medication into the IV.

"It's a horrible and sad thing that happened. I hope the detective recovers."

The nurses left the room and turned off the light. At that moment, Anderson opened his eyes, and they began to glow with that orange radiance.

Out of the hospital...

"Do you have a coin? Haha..."
